This mood board has been built up of many classic horror films including:

- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

- Dracula
- The Wolfman
- Toolbox murders
- Saw
- Chucky
- Scream
- Jeepers Creepers
- Wrong Turn
This was a useful exercise to undertake as I discovered a broader outlook of the horror genre, giving me many examples to analyse. In addition, this large collection of images is useful to our planning as it indicates the areas of convention that we need to tackle. This is evident as I am already starting to notice many similarities across the mood board within the frameworks of lighting, camera angles and props. It is clear when reviewing the pictures that low-key lighting is a typical a hugely recognisable convention of the horror genre, as well as the characters and costume design being very distinctive and gory.
